Keyboard

The keystrokes are smooth and lovely. Each stroke is absolute perfection with a solid feel and very minimal transition time. This is one of my biggest pet peeves with gaming keyboards it the extremely high keys that take full finger travel to activate, not the case with the IOGEAR Kaliber.

The Kaliber Gaming Keyboard also is spill resistant and features drain holes in the bottom to assist with expelling any nasty liquids that may find their way into the keyboard. As always caution should be taken to avoid this in the first place but it is a nice feature.

Mouse

The mouse is a pure treat to work with and allows the option of using IOGEAR software to customize exactly to your needs. The top and side buttons function flawlessly and are very easy to depress during gaming / coding sessions.

One downside I found with the mouse is the middle wheel can be difficult to depress. This may be related to the one I received but it is the only one available for me to test with. As such I would have liked to see smoother depress for the middle key.

Overall

Overall I would highly recommend the IOGEAR Kaliber Gaming Keyboard & Mouse Combo. The price point presents itself as an entry level gaming keyboard and mouse combo but the overall quality and functionality of the keyboard and mouse are top notch. I personally have had more expensive combos from competitors that did not feel near as nice and work as reliably as the Kaliber.
