MSI Optix 24″G241VC Gaming Monitor Review

When it comes to gaming monitors there is a plethora of options and recommended monitors are a dime a dozen. I was in the market for a smaller gaming monitor that was curved and had capacity for beautiful colors. The refresh rate was not as high of a priority as I do not partake in FPS gaming very often. My search led me to the MSI Optix 24″ G241VC Gaming Monitor.

The MSI Optix G241VC is a 24″ 1080p curved gaming monitor with a wide color spectrum, 75Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response rate. It has a FreeSync compatible VA display which makes it a great entry-level gaming monitor for PC or console gaming. It is sleek, beautiful, curved and best of all relatively cheap compared to other curved monitors in the same size category.

Performance-wise, it has very fast response rate which will help to lower blurriness while gaming along with a 75hz refresh rate for smooth gameplay. Both these features should suffice in all but the most demanding of FPS titles which usually require a refresh rate of at least 144hz.

I think the MSI OPTIX G241VC Gaming Monitor is a wonderful monitor for the price. The colors are beautiful, vibrant and the monitor is has a very quick response time that makes gameplay smooth and enjoyable.
