The Sceptre C305B Gaming Monitor, the latest tool in my development gaming arsenal and honestly the one I am most excited to share with you.
Ultrawide, Ultrafast. The Sceptre C305B has a game changing display and is a superior entertainment device. Over 30 inches of curved screen space wrap around you for the best immersive viewing experience. The C305B’s greatest strength is its 200hz refresh rate which pushes its 2560×1080 HD screen to the limit. Gamers will enjoy a blazing fast screen while also benefiting from FreeSync technology which enhances all games.

Picture Quality
Picture quality on this monitor is very clean and crisp, allowing for immersive experiences while playing the latest video game titles. 5MS refresh rate is no slouch and screen tearing is non-existent with this monitor accompanied by a RX 5700 GPU on 144Mhz.
The Sceptre C305B also supports FreeSync. With FreeSync, you can enjoy smooth video and seamless motion. FreeSync is an AMD innovation which virtually eliminates tearing and stuttering because of the differences between the frame rate of a graphics card and the refresh rate of a monitor. Nvidia lovers rejoice, connecting your monitor via display port cable will also allow you to reep the benefits of variable frame rates provided by the AMD FreeSync technologies.
Performance
The monitor delivers audo with built-in speakers for calls, videos and music listening. The quality of these speakers leave a lot to be desired but if you truly want good sound then an external speaker is the industry norm.
Monitor power-on time is very short and menu navigation is easy to configure although other monitors have more efficient menu layouts.
Design
The tilt feature offers multiple options for the best angle to view the screen with the ability to tilt 10 backward and 3 forward. I personally would have liked to see a vertically adjustable stand also but for this price it is hard to complain.
The Sceptre C305B gaming monitor comes with a VESA wall mounting adapter. This provides freedom to use a different base or use a multi-arm configuration for dual ultrawide setup.
For anyone looking at a quality ultrawide under $300, I personally think this is the best you can do.
